brian and i went out for dinner followed by record shopping at amoeba on haight. it was so much fun. i have to admit usually when we go to amoeba i run off to american apparel or crossroads- but this time i got into it. for our date i wore the same plaid top and jacket from a previous post… just switched the look up a little (different jeans/layered top/wide leg jeans). as for the shirt, i paid close to nothing for it at goodwill years ago and i still can’t resist it. i love thrift store finds that go the distance. it’s thrift love!
note to self: go to goodwill. soon.
watch:dkny (michael kors for a similar style). nail color: can you tapas this? by o.p.i. (my fave). hammered gold hoops:nordstrom sunglasses:chanel jeans:h&m tee:american apparel plaid shirt: vintage jacket: old navy (on sale now)
dinner time! brian and i wanted to try something new and we didn’t want to spend too much. so we went to pakwan on 16th between valencia and guerrero. the masala tea was yummy and only a buck with free refills. that’s a big deal in this city! we ordered a few dishes, all vegan friendly. our favorites were the samosas and the vegetable curry. the biryani rice was awesome too. we will definitely be back. be sure to put this place on your cheap eats list.
at the record store everything i was looking for was out of stock. tender buttons by broadcast, out. self-titled pinback album, nope. stereolab, well, you know. on the plus side i was able to add to our david bowie collection for only 4.99. gotta love that!
our cat bowie showing bowie some love. i couldn’t move her until i got a picture which is obviously not the best record care. brian was not impressed, but he let me snap the picture first. that’s love.
